Winning the Award of Excellence from John Paul
Mitchell was quite an achievement for Mo Hair
Salon, the top multicultural salon in Baton Rouge.
While it is always special to be recognized for
accomplishments, when that recognition can be
attributed to a progressive business approach
that does not follow the norm, it becomes all the
more special.
It was a challenge fir Mo Hair Salon to introduce
the John Paul Mitchell Product line in an African
American arena.

retailed in an African American Salon, and it was
quite difficult for The Joan to persuade her
clientele to accept that this product like would
work for their hair type and guarantee outstanding
results.

consultation before and during the salon service, it
would work for all her customers. She knew that she
could satisfy the needs of her clientele, as well as
